PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has always given its players the possibility, within any game, to switch between third-person and first-person views. With an update, however, the developers of Bluehole Studio have introduced a mode dedicated exclusively to the first person that, intuitively, gives a touch of innovation and diversity to the game mechanics.
Battlegrounds has been making huge waves, building a big fanbase and it's still only in its early stages. There's a lot of updates and changes on the horizon and the game will certainly continue to evolve and meld as time goes on, but one big addition that's been hinted at is a single player campaign mode.
It's not something that's actively in development or that has had a lot of planning put into it yet, but PLAYERUNKNOWN wants to do this eventually, and that's good enough for us. There's no timeframe for it, but if there's a lot of demand we can only imagine that will help move it along sooner.

Well, not Watch Dogs, but where you set out to capture each town on the island and take over the island from the military occupation.
